Yoori, We have said to you Monday, that these very same graphs and statistics are meaningless if you are unable to really prove that waste by-products of the beauty care industry is a 'threat' to the environment and a problem to address. You have not given us anything to suggest you understand what you need to do. You need to submit a strong argument for the as-yet-mysterious 'problem' and support it by pertinent critical analysis. Please do not take this lightly and do consult other faculty members on your dire situation. You have not given us anything to suggest you understand what you need to do. You need to now submit a strong argument for the as-yet-undefined 'problem' and support it by in-depth critical analysis.

Yoori,
I agree with Len that your hypothesis seems to be weak. It is a mistake to simply show a lot of graphs that you found on line and expect that we will have confidence that you are making progress towards your goal of identifying a real issue that can be solved through design. The idea of wastefulness in packaging in an interesting problem, but it is hard to see how you can solve it. It is especially hard to get anywhere by simply "raising awareness" about the problem; consumers don't really care, and as long as its cheap and they like the product, they may not be willing to change their behavior. You have to make some rapid progress towards an actual hypothesis. Let me know how I can help.
