HS,
As I said before, this is an excellent thesis project, and I am excited to see what you will do now. You offered an outline of the things you have to do next, and I agree with them. If you are correct in your idea that a fun, painless activity carried out by many people will subtlety influence their thinking and lead to better behavior, this would be an important discovery, with many applications.

I think that your "strategy" section is exactly right: you have to study common attitudes or beliefs about the environment, and then identify common misconceptions that you could correct through your idea of "fun theory". You need to brainstorm about this with other people, to think of as many ideas as possible, and then choose one that is the best to work on. You have to do this fast. I would recommend sending out an on-line survey that asks questions to find out how clueless most people are about simple stuff. There used to be a game show called "Street Smarts", where people tried to predict if dumb people would know the answer to simple questions. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Street_Smarts_(game_show)
Maybe you should try sending out a survey with simple questions about the environment to see which ones people get wrong.
