Amanda, I read through your entire graphic, it kind of blew my mind. It looked like an amazing attempt to free associate in a structured way in order to generate and idea for your thesis project. This is a very legitimate and time-tested method used by serial inventors to stimulate their process. I find that very careful sketching also oils the ideation process.
the only thing I know about your project at this point is that you want to focus on childhood obesity. You also listed a whole bunch of, at first, random-looking names, but I started to see various patterns emerge in the kinds of places that you listed in the stew.
Thanks for the feedback. I would love to know of anyone you know who is doing work in the Childhood Obesity realm- I'm trying to narrow in on a focus within childhood obesity right which I am finding is a broad topic in itself. I want to become involved in New York Public Schools and reach out to lower socioeconomic class schools in other boroughs.
