Intangible problem_Rhee Ju

Problem: In a period of times, it's an issue of being 'Healthy' and one of the methods that people would judge from is a scale which people see the numbers and judge from how much they weight. I think that could cause a problem to people whose trying to loose weight and gain weights because they already have a problem about the numbers being high, and low.

“Vage”, a concept scale from German designer Patrick Decker, seeks to assuage our overly critical perceptions of weight. Rather than display actual mass in pounds or kilograms, it indicates either green or red relative to a user’s ideal weight. Considering a weight scale exists to give accurate measurement of a person’s mass, you’d think something as vague as this would be useless. Maybe the next iteration could dispense a cookie and replace the color red with “you’re just big boned.”

wouldn't you feel just as bad if you always saw red every time you stepped on the scale?
