Material
Need some kind of activity when they get to the destination
What’s after when they go to the destination?

Sheldon (Droog)
He said he really likes it.

Joe (Architecture)
Thinks adding more details on the pop-up map book, for example, they can rotate or pull the pieces.
Think about size, it can be smaller and thicker.
Dowel map can be mixed with squares and circles and think about adding color.
Square containers can look like toy buildings.

Dave
Different height makes everybody have different results.
Think about large containers.
Pop-map seems like a group activity and dowel seems like an individual science oriented activity.
He sees the pop-up and dowel map for different age groups.
How did I decide the space for holes?

Matthew

Kevin
Life cycle
Material
Size
Details of how kids will carry the map.
Pop-up map can be thicker, journal book. He likes the idea of having more pages for the kids to draw daily.
Emphasize the purpose respect to neighborhood and keeping the journal idea.
More interaction with my product

Steven
Think about the material.

Len
Think about the product name.
Now, the pop-up and dowel don’t look like they relate (have different meaning, age group).
Think about level of their challenge by scale, material, and color.
Container also tells a story like east side is yellow; west side is orange in term of how sun rise and sets have meaning.
Use the post it notes to match the level of the challenge.

Other people criticism
How did I decide the space for the holes?
Is it by grid or street?
Dowel map that have so many hole does not connect to where they went.
Are they going back to park after they use?

Next
I will contact NYC Park & Recreation to research the site where I will choose.
Think about level of challenge that my user will participate
Re-evaluate the size and color construction, for instance thickness, movement of pieces adding more pieces to product.
User test
