"Your HTML cannot be accepted: Tag is not allowed: "
I recommend that you just place still images by clicking on the picture icon, then browse for the image on your computer or paste in a URL for a picture that you found on line. You shouldn't have to get into the html for just placing a still image. For video, it does appear to be necessary to use "embed", unless you just want to link to another page where your readers will go to see the video, such as YouTube. But, if you want the video player to appear in your post so that the reader can watch the video without leaving your post, then you have to embed it using html. I'm sure that Google will change this eventually, because it is not intuitive and very easy to make an error (especially if you are not familiar with html). Please let me know if this is not clear. I will address this in more detail in Monday's class.
