My approach with the diagrams was starting from a broad map and then narrow down to my three points. I choose 5 main points such as physical well being, Environment, Furniture, Ceramics, and Wine. In each category, I wrote down smaller issues, problems, or designs that I wanted to explore further within each category. After jotting everything down, I started to connect every point that I could connected in a way that still made sense, even if I wasn’t interested in exploring those relationships.
The second diagram (pg2) is the same as the first diagram; however I started to remove some topics that only had one or two connections. Furthermore, I started to change the colors of the topics to show the importance or interest that I had. The next diagram (pg3) I started to narrow the relationships between different points. During this process I realized that there were points that were very similar to one another, therefore I combined them together.
My last diagram the (3 point diagram pg4), I realized that some categories, physical well being and ceramic, did not connect to the other ideas. Therefore I removed them and focused on furniture, wine and environment. However, ceramics is still a big interest of mine that is still a medium I will use. I also realized many sub ideas could be combined into one topic.
